Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: meet the diagnostic criteria of moderate and severe persistent asthma according to 2009 GINA guideline for moderate to severe persistent asthma. symptoms were more than daily; affect the activities and sleep in the night, nocturnal symptoms were more than weekly; the FEV 1%prep less than 80% and more than 40%; Ages were from 14 to 65. Corticosteroid-free or did not have Inhaled steroid in the past six months. All patients were voluntary, and promised to finish follow-up visit
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: have histories of severe organ dysfunction, use of corticosteroids (intravenous or oral corticosteroid, equivalent dose equal to prednisone>10mg approximately) in the past 4 week, have use long-acting oral b2-agonists or theophylline and leukotriene modifiers et al.
