Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients with planed for a two-level anterior cervical discectomy fusion (ACDF) procedure were considered for inclusion
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of preoperative complaints of dysphagia or prior anterior cervical surgery and those underwent surgery for an etiology other than degenerative disease (ie, trauma, infection, tumor and autoimmune disorders), and those with other conditions that may cause postoperative neurogenic dysphagia, such as motor neuron disease, cerebrovascular disease, or psychiatric disorders were excluded from the study.
