Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 400 patients unpremedicated, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-II, aged 20-60 years who were scheduled for abdominal operation of gynecology

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patients were excluded with one or more of following conditions: a history of chronic back pain, severe low back injury or surgery, intake of analgesic and anticoagulation drugs within the two weeks preceding surgery, a history of systemic disorders such as diabetes mellitus, hepatic, cardiac, respiratory, renal, gastric or coagulative diseases, or hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or local anesthetics. Moreover, the patients with history of drug or alcohol abuse, psychiatric disorders, complications associated with surgery, or abnormal clinical parameters were excluded also.
