46 Years to 74 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age from 40 to 75 years old, no gender restriction; 2. Meeting the diagnostic criteria of ACR; radiographic evidence of at least one osteophyte at the tibiofemoraljoint(Kellgren-Lawrence grade 2,3); 3. Moderate or greater clinically significant knee pain on most days during the previous month; 4. No prior acupuncture or moxibustion treatment in the past 3 months; 5. Patient agrees to be randomized and sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis, gout, acute knee injury or other types of arthritis (with no cartilage change), meniscus injury, ligament injury and intra-articular fracture; 2. The presence of serious medical conditions that precluded participation in the trial, including heart diseases, kidney diseases, liver diseases, malignant tumor (with exception of surgical excision and no relapse in 5 years), systematic infection or contagious diseases; 3. Intra-articular hyaluronate or steroid injection in the past 6 months(including medication for articular surgery or local treatment); history of knee replacement surgery; 4. History of other drug trial.
