Age
45 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Acute cerebrovascular disease suffered within 7 days (including the seventh day); 2. Age >=45 years of age; 3. Consciousness Disorder (GCS<=12)or dysphagia (Kubota drinking water test: Grade III or higher) 4. Planned enteral nutrition for more than seven days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subarachnoid hemorrhage; 2.Previous gastrectomy, intestinal resection, premorbid history of malabsorptive or motility or other gastrointestinal disorder; 3.Definite sign of pneumonia on chest radiography or chest CT; 4.Severe hepatic and renal dysfunction; documented dysfunction (serum Bilirubin > 2.5 mg/dL); 5.Nnasogastric feeding had been initiated before into the group; 6.Morbid obesity (defined as body mass index [BMI] > 35); 7.The need for parenteral nutrition.
