Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All adult men and women are 60 years old and older; 2. Intertrochanteric fracture is confirmed with either by radiographs, computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); 3. Fresh fracture (fracture was occurred within 21 days); 4. Patient was ambulatory prior to fracture; 5. Patent Voluntarily participate in the trial and sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Old fractures; 2. Pathologic fractures (excluded those caused by osteoporosis); 3. Open fractures; 4. Multiple injuries or multiple fractures; 5. Patients were not suitable for surgery (i.e., severe decompensated heart, liver, kidney failure contraindication to the surgery); 6. Acute or chronic infection; 7. Involve in chemotherapy or hormonotherapy; 8. Patient has attended in other trials lately in 6 months; 9. Other conditions that investigators consider patient is not suitable for the trial.
