Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. AF lasting >=6 months; 2. Age <= 75 years old; 3. left atrial diametrer <=55mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Documented LVEF 55 mm or moderate to severe LVH (LV wall thickness >15mm); 2. Untreated hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. Patients who are euthyroid on thyroid hormone replacement therapy are acceptable; 3. Previous left heart ablation procedure, either by surgery or by percutaneous catheter, for atrial fibrillation; 4. Absolute contra-indication to the use of heparin and or warfarin. Or increase risk of bleeding, current peptic ulceration, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, history of severe systemic bleeding, or other history of bleeding diathesis or coagulopathy; 5. Severe pulmonary disease e.g. restrictive pulmonary disease, chronic obstructive disease (COPD); 6. Documented intra-atrial thrombus, tumor, or another abnormality which precludes catheter introduction; 7. Women with a positive pregnancy test; 8. Evidence of active cardiac or systemic infection; 9. Anaphylactic reaction on iodine; 10. Hepatic and renal disfuntion.

AF recurrence: if patients suffer from recurrent AF in 3 months of ablation, antiarrhymia drugs (AAD);atrial flutter or atrial tachycardia: AADs will be taken firstly in 3 months.;Complications: any complications related with ablation, such as atrial esophageal fistula, stroke;	—
