Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Men aged between 50 to 70, with benign prostatic hyperplasia: 1. American Association of Anesthesiology Class =18 and/or maximal flow rate (Qmax) <=15ml/s, OR o Acute urinary retention.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Previous history of TURP or other forms of intervention for benign prostate hyperplasia: 1. Patient confirmed to have carcinoma of prostate; 2. Patients with neurogenic bladder, bladder stone, diverticula or urethral stricture requiring concomitant surgery.
