Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 18-60 years old, ASA I-II patients shedulded for elective intracranil tumor resection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with AVM, aneurysmal bleed, bleeding and coagulation disorders, hepatic and renal failure, a history of peptic ulcers, metabolic disease, and those on antiplatelet and anticoagulation therapy, or with a preoperative Glasgow coma scale of (GCS)<9, preoperative guaiac-positive gastric content, and those on ventilator after surgery, were excluded.
