Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. all patients were pathologically diagnosedwith undifferentiated or differentiated, nonkeratinizing, locally recurrent NPC with the tumors confined to: 1) the nasopharyngealcavity (rT1); 2) the postnaris or nasal septum(rT2a); 3) the superficial parapharyngeal space (rT2b); or 4) thebase wall of the sphenoid sinus (T3). 2. Patients volunteered to participate in this study and signed informed consent?
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. distant metastasis (screening measures: chest X-ray, bone scan); 2. heart, lung function or other physical factors can not be completed treatment; 3. Department of nasopharyngeal tumor invasion of the skull base, extensive destruction or skull base tumor surrounding the internal carotid artery; 4. significant history of mental illness; 5. also associated with other anti-cancer therapy (including anti-tumor immune therapy) or to participate in clinical trials by other interventions; 6. severe nasopharyngeal ulcers, necrosis.
