Age

18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age of 18-60; 2. Diagnosed as primary hemifacial spasm according to the clinical manifestation and cranial MRI,preparing for surgery of microvascular decompression; 3. ASA status I or II; 3. Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. HFS secondary to aneurysms, tumours, or cysts; 2. Factors predictive of dif?cult intubation; 3. BMI above 30 kg m2; 4. History of allergy to muscle relaxants; 5. Reported any preoperative sore throat or hoarseness at history taking.
