Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female aged 18 to 75 years old; 2. newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes or poor controlled glycemia with glycated hemoglobin (HbA1C) were 7.0-12.0%, BMI less than 35, fasting blood glucose were 7.0-16.0

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. evidence of liver disease, renal dysfunction problems (ALT higher than 3x up limit of normal, Cr equal or higher than 1.5mg/dl); 2. yocardial infarction, stroke or TIA within 6 month prior to informed consent
