18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female aged 18 to 75 years old; 2. Newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes or poor controlled glycemia with metaformin alone or other one kind antidiabetic diabetes drug; 3. HbA1c between 7%-10%, BMI less than 35.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Impaired hepatic function with ALT higher than 3 X upper limit of normal; 2. Impaired renal function with serum Cr higher than 1.5 mg/dl; 3. Myocardial infarction, stroke or TIA within 6 months prior to informed consent; 4. Use of insulin, rosiglitazone or piogalitazone, or GLP-1 analogue within 3months prior to informed consent.
