Age

16 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Between 16-60 years of age,diagnosed with diabetes mellitus; 2. Measurement of serum C-peptide below normal values; 3. Failure to triple OHA and on stable dose of insulin for at least 3 months; 4. Patients who accept and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Abnormal liver function tests; 2. Seropositivity for HIV,HBVand HCV; 3. History of myocardial infarction or unstable angina in the previous 3 months; 4. History of malignancy; 5. Active infections; 6. Serious mental conditions.
