Interventions

Group A:Propofol 4-6mg/kg/h and remifentanil 0.1-0.6ug/kg/min iv.
Group B:0.4-0.7MAC sevoflurane for inhalation and remifentanil 0.1-0.6ug/kg/min iv.

3 Years to 10 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Boys of girls aged 3~10 years; 2. Scheduled for posterior correction of scoliosis under general anesthesia; 3. ASA physical status1-2; 4. With informed consent signed by the parents or guardiants.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative pulmary function significantly deseased (FVC<30%); 2. Family histroy of malignant hyperthermia; 3. Patient with neurological deficit or congenital musculoskeletal disease or cerebral palsy; 4. Mobid obses (weight of the patient exceeded 150% of the ideal weight); 5. With a history of an upper respiratory tract infection in the preceding 4 weeks; 6. With a history of asthma; 7. Predicted difficult airway; 8. Clinically significant cardiovascular, renal, hepatic diseases; 9. Medicated with antidepressant or antiepileptic drugs in the preceding 3 months; 10.With a history of allergy to anesthetics.
