Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. According to the diagnostic criteria for migraine with or without aura of International Headache Society (IHS) in 1988; 2. The migraine attacks 2-6 times in last 4 weeks; 3. The onset of migraine is before the age of 50; 4. The patient is diagnosed as migraine for at least 26 weeks before entering the study; 5. The migraine lasts for 4 to 72 hours without taking drugs in acute phase, or for more than 2 hours taking drugs at attack stage; 6. The patient is between 18 to 65 years old; 7. The patient is voluntary and agrees to sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Unable to work (caused by severe migraine) for more than 4 days every month; 2. Special types of migraine, such as ophthalmoplegic migraine, hemiparalysis migraine, basilar migraine; 3. With epilepsy, stroke and other organic diseases in nervous system; 4. With history of psychiatric or taking antipsychotic drugs/antidepressant drugs; 5. The migraine is secondary to: (1) systemic diseases, such as disease of cardiovascular system, acute infection, hematopathy, endocrinal and metabolic disease, allergy, toxication; (2) diseases of ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology, such as glaucoma, tympanitis, paranasal sinusitis, pericoronitis of the wisdom tooth; (3) intracranial diseases, such as intracranial infection, cerebroma, subarachnoid hemorrhage; 6. The patient is within some special period, such as gravida, woman in lactation, drug addict; 7. Taking analgesics more than 3 days every month because of other chronic pain; 8. Receiving hormone therapy; 9. Has taken drugs preventing migraine in 6 months; 10. The patient has severe vital primary disease of cardiac and cerebral vessel system, liver, kidney, hematopoietic system and other systems.
