Congenital heart disease

Interventions

Group A:three 5-min cycles of lower limb ischemia and reperfusion using a blood pressure cuff inflated to a pressure 15 mmHg greater than the systolic arterial pressure of the cprresponding lim.
Group B:sham placement of the blood pressure cuff around the leg without inflation.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 3months to 3 years age; 2. waiting for elective surgical correction of congenital heart disease; 3. RACHS-1 grade, anticipated CPB time greater than 1 hour; 4. informed consent form from the parent or guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. presence of a major noncardiac structural anomaly; 2. peripheral vascular disease; 3. systemic complications such as severe anemia, pulmonary infection; 4. diabetes mellitus; 5. pre-existing renal insufficiency; 6. Perioperative use of nephrotoxic drugs.
