B:Placebo, orally taken for 16 days (from 6 days before the operation
one day after operation, the intervention continues for another 10 days.)
A:Encapsulated bacteria (including inulin) and maltodextrin, orally taken for 16 days (from 6 days before the operation

25 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 25-75 years; 2. The diagnosis is confirmed by biopsy and histologically spontaneous; 3. Undergo radical resection and no far away metastasis (including liver et al).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy, known lactose intolerance, clinically significant immunodeficiency, usage of antibiotics and additional gastrointestinal disorders (e.g. Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis); 2. Patients who have received antibiotics for the last 10 days before surgery or if there is evidence of infection are excluded. Patients undergoing emergency operation are not included; 3. Patients randomized to group 2 are excluded if they have bowel preparation for colonoscopy within 6 days prior to surgery; 4. Patients undergoing proctectomy with low rectal anastomosis or surgery for polypoid lesion.
