Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: In line with IAD diagnostic criteria of the United States, willing to participate in research. Those who reveal over 3 of the 7 symptoms in a year as follows can be diagnosed as IAD: 1. Tolerance. Those who reveal any symptoms including: (1) the need for a marked increase in time spent online; (2) Internet time unchanged, satisfaction decreased. 2. After the cessation of the Internet, reveal any of the following symptoms (1) Significant withdrawal syndrome, that is, to reveal two or more of the following symptoms a few days or a month after stopping or reducing severely long-lasting Internet behavior, including depression, psychomotor restlessness, forced thinking about what is happening online, fantasy or dream of Internet-related things, voluntary or involuntary to do finger keyboard action, Melancholy or functional damage of social intercourse, work or other important fields resulting from the symptoms mentioned above; (2) Be anxious to use Internet or similar service online to reduce or avoid withdrawal symptoms. 3. Surf on the Internet more and longer than planned; 4. Endeavor to reduce or control the use of internet, but fail; 5. Spend much time on something related with using internet, such as purchasing books online, trying new browses, collating the downloaded information; 6. Abandon or reduce important work, social intercourse or entertainment due to using internet; 7. Although knowing that internet is likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of physical, social, working or mental problems, continue to use internet.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of other mental illness; 2. History of drug abuse; 3. Suffered from diseases not suitable for acupuncture treatment, such as severe cardiovascular disease, blood disease, malignant cancer, etc.; 4. sensitive to acupuncture, intolerant of pain, or Halo needle.
