Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. definite peripheral anterior synechia (PAS) of more than 1/2 hours; 2. Intraocular pressure >=21mmHg; 3. Evidence of optic nerve damages(anyone among these):C/D>=0.7, or C/D of difference in two eye>=0.2, or Retinal Nerve Fiber layer defect, or Optic nerve rim =21mm.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary angle closure (ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) detects iridal and retro-iridal tumors or cysts, uveitis, iridocorneal endothelial syndrome and other secondary angle closure); 2. Having a plan to move away in 2 years; 3. likely to fail to follow-up due to serious systemic diseases or family issues, etc; 4. Having a history of intraocular surgery and penetrating trauma; 5. decline to participate.
