Interventions

Group 1:The important vessel arround the knee joints will be separated by perform inner vagina vasorum exclusion, vagina vasorum and osteosarcoma will be resected as whole.
Group 2:The important vessel arround the knee joints will be separated by perform external vagina vasorum exclusion, vagina vasorum will be reserved, only osteosarcoma will be resected as whole.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with osteosarcoma assigned to stage IIb according to Enneking's staging system; 2. Cases pathologically confirmed primary oteosarcoma by puncture biopsy; 3. Typical osteosarcoma around the knee joint: osteosarcoma located in the area of distal femur and proximal tibia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with inappropriate surgical management; 2. secondary osteosarcoma, low grade parosteal osteosarcoma; 3. surgical staging:patients of stage IA, IB, IIA and III; 4. osteosarcoma located in proximal femur, distal tibia and humerus; 5. no data concerning MRI or CT scan of the lesion before operation; 6. MRI showing vessels around knee joint encased by tumor, tumor embolus seen within vessels and cavity of knee joint involved by tumor; 7. CT scan revealing pulmonary metastasis; 8. inappropriate chemotherapy,insufficient dose intensity,chemotherapy administration less than 3 times; preoperatively and less 6 times postoperatively; 9. patients with limb amputation; 10. patients with severe problems in heart, liver and kidney, women in pregnancy and Lactation.
