Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. both match traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine diagnosis: according to the standard of TCM that of People's Republic of China (diagnosis and effect standard of TCM): (1) a definite medical history of ankle sprains; (2) pain, limited swelling, hypodermal ecchymosis and limb after sprained; (3) obvious localized tenderness: If injured by varus violence, when ankle entropionized, anteroinferior of lateral malleolus will have a pian; If injured by valgus violence, when ankle evaginated, anteroinferior of medial malleolus will have a pian; (4) No fractures by X-ray check; 2. Between 18-65 years old; 3. Within 24 hours; 4. Informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. completely break of muscle, tendon, ligament or other soft tissue; 2. Combined with the disease of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, renal, hemopoietic system, delirious and cutaneous; 3. female who is in pregnant and lactation period; 4. Who uncoordinated.
