Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with Kashcin-beck disease elder than 40 years without other bone and cartilage correlated diseases, and without the diseases may influence metabolism.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History or active presence of other bone or cartilage disease and an illness known to affect bone metabolism (i.e., Paget's disease, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, cancer or alcoholism); traumatic knee lesions; substantial abnormalities in haematological, hepatic, renal.
