No minimum to 16 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged 0-16 years old; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status class II or III; 3. young children with congenital heart disease; 4. undergoing general anesthesia with a laryngeal mask airway for cardiac catheterization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. a recent lower respiratory tract infection; 2. planned airway management with a tracheal tube; 3. known hypersensitivity to anesthetics; 4. local anesthesia.
