Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Methamphetamine psychosis group (MAP): meating dignostic criteria of DSM-IV methamphetamine dependence co-occured with methamphetamine associated psychosis, and the psychotic symtoms occured at least one month after onset of methamphetamine use; age ranges: 18-49; with education level at least junier high school; with normal audition and vision, or being normal in audition and vision after correction. Non-psychotic methamphetamine dependence group (MA): meating DSM-IV diagnostic crriteria of methamphetamine dependence and never had psychotic symtoms, with age. sex, methamphetamine use years matched with methamphetamine psychosis group, normal in audition and vision without or after correction. Schizophrenia group (Sch): meating DSM-IV diagnostic criteria of paranoid schizophrenia, with age, sex and cours of psychosis matched with methamphetamine psychosis group; Vision and audition is normal or normal with correction. Healthy control group (HC): having no DSM-IV current or lifetime disorder, without any neurological diseases or any traumatic brain injury, with no serious somatic disease; do not use any addictive substance except social drink, tobaco and coffee.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: MAP:having a current or past diagnosis of any neurological disease, having a history of traumatic brain injury or meeing any dignosis of DSM-IV axis I disorders other than methaphetamine dependence and associated psychosis; participants with antisocial or borderline disorders are excluded; being addictive to other substances than methamphetamine exept for tobaco,coffee,or social alcohol use; HIV screening testing positive; equiped in the body with divices of heart pacemaker or neurostimulator or other mental objects, such as any mental artificial tooth, dental brace,bone fixation plate or aneurysm clip; other situation that not suitable for magnetic resonance scanning, such as claustrophobia. MA:having a current or past diagnosis of any neurological disease, having a history of traumatic brain injury or meeing any dignosis of DSM-IV axis I disorders other than methaphetamine dependence; other excluding criteria being the same as MAP group. Sch:having a current or past diagnosis of any neurological disease, having a history of traumatic brain injury or meeing any dignosis of DSM-IV axis I disorders other than schizophrenia;other excluding criteria being the same as MAP group. HC:being indicated as having a significant somastic disease by rutine health check-up including physical examination, blood testing and cardiogram; HIV serum screening test indicates positive; people with antisocial or borderline personalities;equiped in the body with any mental divices, such as mental artificial tooth, dental brace,bone fixation plate or aneurysm clip; other situation that not is suitable for magnetic resonance scanning, such as claustrophobia.
