Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. hypertension group: the hypertension patients from cardiovascular outpatient or inpatient ward, aged=18 years old. The definition of hypertension: the seventh WHO / international society of hypertension diagnosis standard: the systolic pressure =140 mmHg, and or diastolic blood pressure=90 mmHg not on the same day =3 times without useing antihypertensive drugs; a previous history of hypertension, but blood pressure are not up to the ideal level of blood pressure; 2. control group: normal healthy subjects, aged =18 years old .
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with secondary hypertension; (2) patients with non hypertensive complications; (3) mental disorders; (4) physical disability; (5) facial paralysis, facial skin damage, facial inflammation; (6) patients with facial diseases; (7) subjects with incomplete data and unwilling to participate in clinical trials.
