Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) patients with primary esophageal cancer and no metastasis; (2) patients with clear biopsy diagnosis, and (3) patients who underwent radical esophagectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients complicated with severe pulmonary infection at post-surgery; (2) patients with neck late anastomotic leak; (3) patients who had acute heart failure, cardiogenic shock and other diseases of the vital organs; (4) patients who previously received other types of thoracic surgery.
