Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 60 patients with IBS are required to comply with the Rome IV diagnostic criteria, and the colonoscopy results should be normal: 1) over the course of six months; 2) persistent abdominal pain for 6 months; 3) in recent three months has at least 2 characteristics: symptoms were improved after defecation; symptoms were accompanied by frequency of defecation; symptoms accompanied with changes in stool characteristics. 30 healthy volunteers have no symptoms, such as abdominal pain and change of stool traits, and the colonoscopy results are normal.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) age <18 years old; 2) had abdominal operation history; 3) in pregnancy or lactation period; 4) in the past 2 weeks, used expansive agents, antidiarrheal drugs, antispasmodic drugs, probiotics and antibacterial agents.
