Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) patients with colorectal cancer and underwent primary radical resection; (2) patients who provided a signed informed consent for the collection of pathological specimens and preservation of pathological tissues, and (3) patients with stage I or II colorectal cancer diagnosed according to the Seventh Edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) tumor staging guidelines.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients who received chemotherapy treatment prior to admission to our hospital, and (2) patients who received radical surgery were combined with other tumors.
