Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients with chronic migraine fulfilled International The International Classification of Headache Disorders III (ICHD-3 beta): Headache occurring on 15 or more days per month for more than 3 months, which has the features of migraine headache on at least 8 days per month[9]; (2) All patients can be able to keep headache diary everyday; (3) Patients were right-handed ,and greater than 18 years old; (4) The intensity of patients pain were greater than 4/10 VAS (0 means painless, 10 means unbearable pain).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) pain intensity less than 4 on a 0-10 visual analog scale (VAS); (2) other clinical research study participation in the previous 3 months; (3) other neurological disease or psychiatric disorder; (4) pregnancy or lactating women; (5) other types of headache; (6) administration of sedative or analgesic drugs within 24h before the fMRI scan or the use of any additional pain treatments during the entire study period, including histories of taking opioid analgesics or narcotics; (7) contraindications to MRI scanning.
