Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. over 65 years of age; 2. undergoing mechanical ventilation; 3. Oxygen concentration maintenance at 40% made the peripheral oxygen saturation more than 95%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We excluded patients with secondary hypertension, shock, arrhythmia, and severe heart failure (NYHA cardiac function grade III - IV).
