Recurrence, Metastasis and Radiation-induced Normal Tissue Injury of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient is pathologically confirmed NPC with information of clinical stage and TNM classification; 2. Patient is expected to have survival time of more than six months; 3. The functional state score (KPS) is no less than 70; 4. Patient aged 18-80 years; 5. Patient has complete medical records including medical history, result of physical examination and other related examination, etc.; 6. Patient agrees to participate in this clinical study and sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The patients who are in any of these cases should be excluded: 1. The patient does not complete all the courses of radiotherapy; 2. The patient is not compliant with follow-up for some reasons; 3. The patient has metastatic tumor when he/she is diagnosed with NPC; 4. There are abnormal signals in the MRI of nasopharynx/brain for some unknown reasons; 5. The patient has been treated with head and neck radiotherapy for other diseases (not including NPC); 6. The patient has suffered from the diseases that have similar clinical symptoms with radiation early effect. For example, the patient had salivary gland surgery or other physical treatment.
