55 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Age = 55 years; 2)Scheduled to undergo elective thoracotomy with one-lung ventilation; 3)The expected duration of surgery = 2 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refuse to participate; 2. Emergent surgery; 3. Poor hearing and/or vision impeding delirium assessment; 4. Language barrier impeding delirium assessment; 5. History of schizophrenia; 6. Severe neurocognitive dysfunction conditions such as coma or dementia; 7. ASA physical status classification = 4; 8. Other reasons that are considered unsuitable for study participation. The reasons must be recorded in the CRF.
