Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who fulfilled the diagnosis criteria of tic disorders according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition; 2. Patients aged 3-14 years old, no sex limited; 3. Stop using any kinds of antimicrobial drugs, probiotic, prebiotics, immunosuppressive drugs, high doses of vitamins and other drugs affected intestinal microbes for more than 1 month; 4. Voluntarily participated in the study and signed the informed consent form by a legally acceptable representative, with the ability to collect samples as required.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The tics are attributable to another medical condition (e.g.,epilepsy,Sydenham's chorea) or the physiological effects of some substances and medicines; 2. Patients have a history of infectious disease within a month; 3. Patients with other kinds of diseases that seriously impair the quality of life(e.g.severe brain trauma); 4. Children or parents cannot cooperate to collect samples and information as required.
