20 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged over 20 years; 2. had good periodontal health; 3. had single-implant crowns; 4. if their implant prostheses exhibited light contact during forceful biting and no contact during light biting; 5. had been followed for more than 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. had implant prostheses connected to natural teeth or adjacent to implant prostheses; 2. experiencing pain in the temporomandibular joint; 3. had a history of periodontitis; 4. had undergone therapy involving occlusal adjustments, resin fillings, crown restorations, orthodontics, or tooth extraction after implant prosthesis delivery; 5. failed to exhibit a stable occlusal relationship, or had parafunctional habits (clenching and/or bruxism).
