Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patients (aged 18-75 years old) treated at the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Nanchong Central Hospital were included in the study. They were diagnosed as ACS by clinical manifestations, electrocardiogram (ECG), cardiac enzyme test or coronary angiography. All study procedures were conducted in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975 and were approved by the Nanchong Central Hospital Institutional Review Board

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) allergy to clopidogrel; 2) having taken aspirin or clopidogrel or other antiplatelet drugs within 7 days prior to the study; 3) platelet count >300x10^9/L or <100x10^9/L; 4) abnormal liver and kidney functions (ALT or AST level higher by 3 times above the upper limit of normal range; GFR<60ml/min); 5) active peptic ulcer; 6) having received major surgeries, cerebrovascular accidents or history of hemorrhage recently.
