Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria of COPD: 1) Aged 40 to 79 years, residents in Guangzhou, including male and femal; 2) Patients with confirmed diagnosis of COPD in stable peroids according to the Gold guideline in 2007; 2. Inclusion criteria of Asthma: 1) Aged 40 to 79, residents in Guangzhou, including male and femal; 2) Patients with confirmed diagnosis of COPD according to the GINA guideline in 2008; 3. Inclusion criteria of the control group: 1) Aged 40 to 79, residents in Guangzhou, including male and femal; 2) The FEV1% predicted=80%, FEV1/FVC=0.7 after inhaling bronchodilator. No chronic respiratory disease, cardiovascular diseases and other serious disease; 4. The subjects participate the study voluntarily and can cooperate the follow-up, sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Asthma-COPD overlap syndrome; 2) Combining with cardiovascular diseases and other serious disease, which may make a influence on the study; 3) Chronic respiratory failure; 4) Serious AECOPD were happened in the last month; 5) The subjects have participated in the last three months.
