Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Case group: (1) volunteered to participate in this trial and signed informed consent; (2) aged 2-7years; (3) Autism was diagnosed by a professional scale. Control group: (1) volunteered to participate in this trial and signed informed consent; (2) aged 2-7years; (3) developed normally.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) used antibiotics and antifungal drugs one month before commencing the study; (2) special diet: such as gluten free, casein diet, or carbohydrate diet; (3) used prebiotics, probiotics, antioxidants within a month; (4) celiac disease, or systemic inflammatory reaction; (5) history of other neurological symptoms such as epilepsy; (6) Crohn's disease, IBD(inflammatory bowel disease), food intolerance and other gastrointestinal diseases; (7) liver disease; (8) type 1 diabetes mellitus.
