Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) over 18 years of age, male or female; 2) preoperative pathological evidence supports the diagnosis of rectal cancer; 3) conforms to the standard of diagnosis of rectal cancer: low end of the tumor from the anal margin less than 8cm (sagittal pelvic magnetic distance evaluation); 4) preoperative imaging was assessed for stage II (T3-4, lymph node negative, tumor penetrating the muscularis of the intestinal wall) or stage III rectal cancer (lymph node positive, without distant metastasis); 5) no surgical contraindication and complete resection of the tumor is expected; 6) the Karnofsky score is more than 70; 7) patients who can understand the purpose of the trial and voluntarily sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) history of abdominal surgery; 2) use hormone or immunosuppressant treatment; 3) past or combined with other malignancies; 4) with a history of severe lung or heart disease, unable to tolerate radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or surgery; 5) have serious allergies or allergies; 6) the subjects were reluctant to comply with the study protocol or follow-up plan; 7) any incomplete surgical procedure is expected during the procedure; 8) poor cognitive ability or mental abnormality; 9) other reasons that the researchers believe should be excluded.
