Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: UK Parkinson's Disease Society Brain Bank criteria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with other brain disorders, other types of dementia (i.e. Alzheimers disease, frontotemporal dementia, Dementia with Lewy body), cognitive impairment secondary to other disorders (i.e. low levels of vitamin B12 or folic acid, abnormalities in thyroid function), abnormal findings on MRI (i.e. tumour, hydrocephalus or severe vascular lesions), severe systemic disease, major psychiatric illness, prior cerebral surgery, positive VDRL test and acritochromacy.
