Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy Group: 1. Have signed the informed consent; 2. Aged 18~25 years; 3. no history of neurological or psychiatric diseases; 4. no history of swallowing problems nor medical conditions that would contribute to dysphagia; 5. Reported right-handed according to Edinburgh Handedness Inventory. Patients' Group: 1. Have signed the informed consent; 2. Aged 18~75 years; 3. Had unilateral hemispheric stroke or brainstem stroke confirmed by MRI; 4. Determined as Oropharyngeal dysphagia or pharyngeal dysphagia according to VFSS; 5. score >17 on MMSE, be able to cooperate; 6. Be in general good health, without severe function failure.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Healthy Group: 1. history of esophageal disease; 2. Pregnant; 3. having contraindications to receiving TMS,including metel implants, brain tumor and intracranial hypertension. Patients' Group: 1. with severe psychiatric diseases; 2. dysphagia contributed by other neurological diseases or head and neck neoplasms; 3. already have swallowing problems before this onset; 4. Pregnant; 5. having contraindications to receiving TMS,including metal implants, brain tumor and intracranial hypertension.
