Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. FTD patients: inpatients with a current psychotic episode, meet International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision (ICD-10) criteria for schizophrenia; aged 18-50 years; educational level of middle school or above; right-handed; Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS) total score =60; Scale for the Assessment of Thought, Language, and Communication (TLC) total score =7; 2. Non-FTD patients: age/sex/education/duration of illness matched with FTD patients; inpatients with a current psychotic episode, meet ICD-10 criteria for schizophrenia; age 18-50 years; education level of middle school or above; right-handed; PANSS total score =60; TLC total score <7; 3. Non-psychotic first-degree relatives: age/sex/education matched with FTD patients; aged 18-50 years; education level of middle school or above; right-handed; 4. Healthy Controls: age/sex/education matched with FTD patients; aged 18-50 years; education level of middle school or above; right-handed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. FTD patients: 1) meet ICD-10 criteria for mental disorders except schizophrenia (such as organic mental disorder, etc); 2) electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) within 3 months; 3) having severe physical illness; 4) unable to complete the examination. 2. Non-FTD patients: 1) meet ICD-10 criteria for mental disorders except schizophrenia (such as organic mental disorder, etc); 2) ECT within 3 months; 3) having severe physical illness; 4) unable to complete the examination. 3. Non-psychotic first-degree relatives: 1) meet ICD-10 criteria for any mental disorders; 2) having severe physical illness; 3) unable to complete the examination. 4. Healthy Controls: 1) meet ICD-10 criteria for any mental disorders; 2) having severe physical illness; 3) unable to complete the examination.
