Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 40 to 75 years old male and female; 2. Diagnosed with dyslipidemia associated with carotid atherosclerosis (dyslipidemia diagnostic criteria refer to 2007 Chinese adult dyslipidemia prevention guidelines for the joint committee "Chinese adult dyslipidemia prevention guide", carotid atherosclerosis of carotid artery is reference, intima media thickness (IMT) was more than 1.0mm, the swollen 1.2mm or / and the formation of atherosclerotic plaques); 3. Patients who did not regularly take the lipid regulating drugs; 4. Signed informed consent, willing to participate in the study, and be able to truthfully answer questions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with acute myocardial infarction, cerebral vascular accident, severe trauma or major surgery within half a year; 2. Secondary dyslipidemia; 3. Drugs (phenothiazine, beta blockers, corticosteroids and some contraceptives) caused by dyslipidemia and homozygous hypercholesterolemic patients; 4. Patients who are using heparin, thyroid hormone therapy drugs and other drugs that affect blood lipid metabolism, and patients who have previously used other; 5. Severe primary diseases such as liver, kidney and hematopoietic system; 6. Patients with mental disease.
