18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) intent to undergo thyroidectomy; (2) mis-resected or ischemic parathyroid glands were found during operation; (3)no concomitant Graves disease; (4) no preoperative hyper- or hypoparathyroidism; and (5) an ability to comply with the follow-up protocol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. with concomitant Graves disease preoperatively; 2. with hyper- or hypoparathyroidism preoperatively; 3. with difficult venous blood collection; 4. participants to exit the test.
