Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 75g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) was performed in all subjects, and the diagnoses of T2DM were based on the diagnostic criteria of World Health Organization (WHO) in 1999.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute and chronic complications of diabetes; 2. Hepatic or renal disease, and systemic corticosteroid treatment; 3. stage 2 hypertension (resting blood pressure>=160/100 mmHg), history of cardiovascular disease (myocardial infarction, unstable angina, stroke, peripheral artery disease, or cardiovascular revascularization); 4. Women who were currently pregnant and breastfeeding were also excluded from this study.
