14 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Chinese patients of Han ethnicity; 2. Aged between 14 and 80; 3. The patients were diagnosed and classified according to guidelines of the International League against Epilepsy; 4. The patients were on OXC monotherapy more than eight weeks and plasma concentration were at steady state; 5. The patients can fully understand the purpose of the study and possible adverse reactions to voluntarily participate in the experiment and signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) severe adverse drug reactions; 2) degenerative neurological or systemic disorders; 3) patients with brain disease, such as brain tumors 4) poor compliance with AEDs; 5) unreliable record of seizure frequency; 6) history of alcohol or drug abuse; 7) presence of progressive hepatic or renal failure.
