Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. PCOS patients who visited our hospital before their pregnancy in a 5-year pre-study period and followed up during the whole pregnancy and delivery at the Obstetrics Division of the Sun Yat-sen memorial hospital, Sun Yat-sen university, Guangdong China between January 2007 and December 2010; 2. Women have no PCOS and the records of pregnancy outcome in the same hospital and during the same time interval.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The women with age greater than 40 years, cardiopathy companied with cardiac insufficiency, active hepatitis, uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, active systemic lupus erythematosus (sle), serious hematopathy, malignant tumor, serious trauma, smoking, drug/alcohol use, organic pelvic disease, or pregnancy accompanied with acute abdominal disease, were excluded.
