18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Healthy volunteer without hypertension; 2) Patients with systolic blood pressure more than 140 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure more than 90 mmHg for at least three consecutive blood pressure measurements.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Isolated systolic hypertension, secondary hypertension, or known renal artery stenosis; 2) Complex congenital heart disease; 3) Congestive heart failure; 4) cerebrovascular accident, transient ischemic attacks or myocardial infarction within the past year; 5) A documented history of unstable angina pectoris within the past 6 months; PCI or CABG; clinically important cardiac arrhythmia; 6) Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (fasting blood glucose > 180 mg/dl); 7) Any clinically important abnormal laboratory finding, such as glutamic–pyruvic transaminase/creatinine twice the upper limit of normal; 8) A history or suspicion of alcohol or drug abuse; 9) Pregnant or lactating females.
