Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients were eligible if they fulfilled a serum creatine kinase -myocardial band (CK-MB) elevation greater than twice the upper limit of normal or troponin T or I elevation greater than the upper limit of normal, and at least one of the following criteria: (1) angina lasting at least >20 min within 24 h on admission; (2) clear changes on ECG during angina: ST-segment depression>=0.1 mV; or transient ST-segment elevation>=0.1 mV in at least 2 contiguous ECG leads.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded if one of the following characteristics was present: STEMI, received fibrinolysis therapy , no available data on glucose levels, bleeding history and thrombocytopenia, coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG) within 1 month, drug allergy, and anticoagulation contradictionserum creatinine greater than 2.5 mg/dlmalignancy, or neurological deficit limiting follow-up.
