7 Years to 18 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Both sexes, aged 6-18 years, American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II, aged 6-18 years, scheduled for elective minor surgical operations under epidural anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with thyroid disease, dysautonomia, Raynaud's syndrome, cardiopulmonary disease, a need for blood transfusion during surgery, an initial core temperature >37.5 degree C or <36.5 degree C, alcohol abuse, use of sedative-hypnotic agents such as NSAIDs or use of vasodilators three days before operation, having contraindications to epidural anesthesia.
